(BNP) - From September 1 to September 3, the Vietnamese Association in Japan held the Vietnam Festival in Saitama – Hello Saitama. Coming to the festival, Bac Ninh province performed and promoted Quan Ho Bac Ninh Folk Song and Dong Ho folk painting performance.
With the name “Hello Saitama”, the Festival Organizing Committee hoped to recreate Vietnam in Saitama city by combining the spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival with the colors of the Full Moon festival night. This is not only the first Mid-Autumn Festival held in Saitama, but also the first time the Vietnamese Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere has been brought to hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese people living and studying in Japan.
Coming to the Festival, visitors enjoyed a special art program with the participation of artists: Hong Nhung, Quang Dung, Ngo Kien Huy, Suni Ha Linh, Phuc Bo..; Traditional cultural and artistic performances such as Trau Van singing, Bac Ninh Quan ho folk songs... In addition, the Festival also displayed booths, introducing handicrafts and Vietnamese cuisine.
The festival is an event that contributes to tightening the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Japan, marking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.
