State budget revenue reaches nearly VND 30,000 billion

Regarding economic structure, industry - construction sector accounted for 73.5%; service accounted for 23.8%; agriculture, forestry and fishery accounted for 2.7%. State budget revenue reached more than VND 29,910 billion, up 6.5%, among which, domestic revenue was estimated at over VND 23,600 billion, up 8%. Foreign investment attraction ranked 7th in the country, of which, new attraction and adjustment increased over USD 1.34 billion; attracting domestic investment of over VND 9,700 billion, establishing nearly 2,000 new businesses.

The new rural construction program continued to achieve many results. Up to now, the province has 96 out of 97 communes meeting new rural standards; the average number of criteria reaches 18.99 criteria/commune; 2 districts meet new rural district criteria. Administrative reform continues to be promoted, PAR index increases by 3 levels, the provincial competitiveness index (PCI) increases by 2 levels, the provincial governance and public administration performance index (PAPI) increases by 6.54 points; the readiness for information and communications technology development and applications (ICT Index) increases by 2 levels…

The fields of culture, society, security and defense continued to be maintained. For the first time, Bac Ninh has the rate of good students standing in the top 5 provinces in the country, among which, 01 student won the first prize in Literature; 01 athlete broke three world weightlifting records and 01 athlete won 6 medals at the Asian Youth Chess Tournament.
