Provincial leaders receives and works with Korean enterprises

(BNP) – In the afternoon of November 21st, Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Huong Giang received and worked with Mr. Ahn Soon Hong, Chairman and CEO of Hanwha TechWin Security Company (Korea).

At the meeting, Mr. Ahn Soon Hong congratulated Mr. Nguyen Huong Giang on her new position as Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee. At the same time, he thanked the provincial leaders and functional agencies for supporting and facilitating enterprises to operate in recent years. Hanwha TechWin Security Company currently has 2 factories in China and Vietnam, of which Hanwha TechWin Security Vietnam invested in Bac Ninh from the beginning of 2017, operating in the fields of manufacturing electronic circuits, semiconductors, electronic chips, surveillance cameras...

In the first 10 months of 2019, the production value of Hanwha TechWin Security Vietnam Company reached USD 11.2 million (accounting for about 80% of the total production value of Hanwha TechWin Security Company), paying nearly USD 70 thousands to the State budget and creating jobs for about 700 laborers. In the coming time, the Company will expand its production in Bac Ninh. Besides, the provincial leaders direct sector and functional units to actively support and create conditions for human resources to improve production efficiency, he added.

At the reception, Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang, Chairwoman of the provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the fast and stable development of Hanwha TechWin Security Vietnam Company as well as  asked the Company to continue strictly following Vietnam's legal policies; well-implement corporate culture, care and take care of workers' lives; research and expand production, fully implement regulations on labor hygiene and safety, fire and explosion prevention and fighting; actively participate in local community activities ... thereby, creating a spillover to attract more Korean enterprises having high technology and clean technology in order to invest in the province. The Chairwoman also assigned the Provincial Industrial Zones Authority in coordination with related sectors to support enterprises in the coming time.
