Vice Chairman Dao Quang Khai receives and works with Korean Embassy Counselor to Vietnam

LH Group is a State-owned enterprise under the Korean Government, which was established in 2009 on the basis of merging Korea Housing Corporation and Korea Land Corporation. Up to now, the Group provides about 15% of total housing in Korea; 35 projects are implementing in 19 countries. In Vietnam, the Group is implementing projects for development of industrial park infrastructure and construction of smart urban and social housing.

At the meeting, Mr. Kim Youi highly appreciated the potential of social housing needs in Bac Ninh province. He hoped that provincial leaders would pay attention and facilitate LH Group for researching and investing the construction of social housing in the province.

The representative from LH Group is committed to building social housing in Bac Ninh with the best quality and full facilities at a reasonable price.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman Khai briefly introduced the outstanding achievements in the province’s socio-economic development over the past time. Especially, Bac Ninh is a key industrial province of the country with about 400,000 employees, and this will be a great advantage in the construction of social housing, meeting the needs of accommodation for workers.

The province has now 47 social housing projects with a total usable area of 148.87 hectares, of which, 21 housing projects for workers and 26 projects for low-income housing. It is expected that in the period of 2022 - 2025, the province will allocate 69.08 hectares of land for social housing. 75.09 ha will be allocated in the period 2026 – 2030.

Khai suggested LH Group need to make a specific and detailed plan on investment promotion in Bac Ninh. On the other hand, he assigned the functional departments and sectors to work with the Group in the process of researching and implementing project in the province.
