Visiting and encouraging Bac Ninh athletes to compete at National Sports Congress

(BNP) - On December 10, leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism visited and encouraged athletes from the Bac Ninh Sports Delegation to compete at the 9th National Sports Congress in Quang Ninh province and Hai Phong city.


Leaders of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism present gifts to encourage athlete Nguyen Duy Tuyen.

Attending the 9th National Sports Congress, Bac Ninh Sports Delegation sent nearly 180 coaches and athletes to compete in 15 out of 43 subjects, aiming to win 10-15 gold medals, ranking 22-25 out of 65 participating sports teams.

On December 10, Bac Ninh sports delegation competed in 5 out of 15 registered subjects, winning 19 medals of all kinds (5 gold, 4 silver, 10 bronze).

After directly cheering for athletes of the Bac Ninh Sports Delegation to compete in Pencak Silat (Quang Ninh); KickBoxing (Hai Phong), leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism met, encouraged and sent the wishes to the athletes of the Bac Ninh Sports Delegation.

Department's leaders asked that the training board to pay attention, care, and timely encourage the competitive spirit of athletes in order to promote their full abilities and forte to achieve success and bring glory to the province.

On this occasion, leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded hot prizes to athlete Nguyen Duy Tuyen (PencakSilat) and athlete Nguyen The Huong (Kickboxing) who have just excelled in bringing home the gold medal for Bac Ninh sports.
