Winners of Bac Ninh Startup and Innovation Competition 2023 awarded

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Tan Phuong awards 02 first prizes to winning groups of authors.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Tan Phuong; leaders of relevant departments, branches, sectors and mass organizations; the districts, towns, and cities along with groups and individuals having innovative start-up ideas and projects that won the prize attended the ceremony.

The Startup and Innovation Competition was one of activities of the 2023 Bac Ninh Startup and Innovation Festival with an aim to encouraging businesses, organizations, and individuals with innovative start-up ideas and project; creating a playground for startup businesses, organizations, and individuals as well as promoting the province’s innovative startup movement.

After more than 2 months of launching, the competition’s organizing committee received 60 innovative startup ideas and projects from authors and author groups.

At the end of the Competition, the organizing committee awarded two first prizes to the projects including the project of development of ecological agriculture using high technology, combining experience, promoting agricultural products, and preserving traditional cultural values by the author group Pham Duc Hieu (Hien Van commune, Tien Du District) and the project of application of advanced science and technology to automate some stages in manufacturing “Phu The” cake by the author group Do Thi Yen (Dinh Bang ward, Tu Son city).

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 02 Second prizes, 05 Third prizes and 07 Consolation prizes to the winning authors and the authors groups; awarded Certificates to units and businesses accompanying and sponsoring the Festival.

Along with the Competition, the 2023 Bac Ninh Startup and Innovation Festival consisted of a series of activities such as: Conference on "E-commerce application in connecting supply and demand of typical products and specialties of Bac Ninh Province for domestic and international markets"; Training on entrepreneurship and innovation based on the e-commerce business model, promoting digital economic development in Bac Ninh province; Innovative start-up workshop; Forum on policies to support the development of innovative start-ups; Bac Ninh startup and innovation competition in 2023, thereby, connecting and attracting human resources to develop the innovation and startup ecosystem in the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Ngo Tan Phuong acknowledged and praised the entrepreneurial spirit and practical effectiveness of the products and projects participating in the contest as well as highly appreciated the results of the Festival.

Phuong urged the departments, branches, sectors and mass organization as well as localities to continue promoting propaganda about the Festival;  mobilizing organizations and individuals to participate in the Competition; creating a favorable environment, conditions, and legal basis for businesses to start up and innovate most effectively with the least risk; motivate and promote innovative start-up trends and movements…
