Y Na Communal House
(BNP) - Y Na Communal House (Kinh Bac Ward, Bac Ninh City) was originally built on a large scale during the Le Trung Hung period (18th century). This place worships famous generals who fought against the enemy during the Hung King period.
Despite being destroyed during the resistance war against the French, the Y Na communal house retains some of the ancient architecture of the Le - Nguyen period, as well as many rare antiques that serve as both historical evidence of the communal house and valuable cultural heritages of the homeland and country. The Y Na communal house was ranked as a provincial historical and cultural relic in 2007. It is located in the west of the Y Na area, the east borders Au Co street and the remaining sides border the residential area. Overall, it has a large appearance, but it is soft and beautiful due to its curving tile roofs.
Currently, Y Na communal house has the architecture of "front is the Chinese "Nhất" letter and back is the Chinese “Đinh” letter. The front ceremonial hall has 5 compartments. The front ceremonial hall is Nguyen Dynasty architecture that was retained during the 1933 reconstruction and remains today.
The “Đại đình” is shaped like the Chinese “Đinh” letter, including 3-compartment and 2-leanstone “Đại bái” and 2-compartment ‘Hậu cung”.
Currently, the communal house preserves typical artifacts such as: 05 Nguyen Dynasty altars; 05 Nguyen Dynasty tablets; 01 Nguyen Dynasty incense table; 01 Nguyen Dynasty horizontal lacquered board; 07 royal decrees; incense table; set of eight treasures; eight-piece palanquin, horizontal lacquered board, parallel sentences, and worship horses.
