11th Football Tournament for male and female worker opens

Participants in the ceremony were leaders of Provincial Labor Federation and Provincial Industrial Zones Authority.

The tournament attracted the participation of 1.200 athletes who are workers from 80 teams (64 men’s and 16 women’s football teams) in the industrial parks of the province.

According to the Rules, the tournament takes place on Sundays; the closing ceremony will be held in the middle of November 2023. The teams compete in a table format with round-robin matches and calculate points. Top and second teams of the table will advance to round II of the knock-out matches.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee will award 1 First prize, 1 Second prize, 1 Third prize and 1 Fair-play prize. In addition, the committee will also award individual prizes including 1 excellent goalkeeper, 1 excellent player and 1 Beauty queen for women’s football.

The tournament is an annual activity of the Trade Union of Bac Ninh industrial parks. It aims to respond to the campaign “All people exercise their bodies following the example of great Uncle Ho”. At the same time, it creates a healthy and useful playground for the employees at the industrial parks of the province.
