36 FDI projects newly granted investment certificates
(BNP) - In 2019, Bac Ninh continues to focus and select investors towards "green economy" and join the global value chain with the goal of attracting USD 900 million into industrial parks.

In the first quarter, there were dozens of foreign delegations coming to Bac Ninh to study and promote investment including many large corporations such as Lenovo, Biwater, Kabul, etc. As of March 15, the whole province issued new investment certificates to 36 projects with a total investment of USD 459.2 million, increasing by 16.1% in the number of projects and 59.8% in registered capital year-on-year. Bac Ninh also granted adjustment for 20 projects with a total adjusted capital of USD 103.6 million at the same time.
The province has had 1,334 FDI projects licensed (still in effect) worth USD 17,600 million so far.
In particular, there are 896 projects in industrial parks (accounting for 68.6%) with a total registered investment capital of USD 16,346 million and Korea is the leading country in terms of projects and investment capital with 981 projects and 14.107 million USD of investment capital.
