70th anniversary of establishment of Dinh Bang Guerrilla Youth Team

Leaders of Bac Ninh and Ben Tre provinces give flowers and take a photo with the artists participating in the show.

Speaking at the celebration, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong, Head of the Organizing Committee emphasized that Dinh Bang guerrilla youth team is officially established in Lang Lap Chao, Dinh Bang village, Tu Son town on November 7^th 1949. During the course of the fighting, Dinh Bang guerrilla youth team deserved to be a truly revolutionary force, contributed significantly to the cause of resistance to the rescue. It was awarded the title Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the Party and the State. Ben Tre’s long-haired army was born in the Dong Khoi movement in the early 1960s, after the Resolution of the Central Party's Resolution 15 and opened the path of political struggle combined with armed struggle. Ben Tre’s long-haired army has become famous and replicated throughout the South, playing an important role in the revolutionary struggle in South Vietnam during the period of resistance war against the US imperialists.

The Vice Chairman also expressed his joy to be multiplied when Bac Ninh and Ben Tre provinces held a historic meeting between two revolutionary hero organizations including Dinh Bang guerrilla youth team of Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac land and Ben Tre’s long-haired army - South Vietnam. This is also an important meeting of historical significance for Bac Ninh and Ben Tre to exchange and meet historical witnesses, thereby fostering national pride, love spirit homeland, country and revolutionary ideal for the younger generation. This is further opportunity to introduce the traditional culture of the two localities as well as build build relationships of cooperation, solidarity and friendship between the two provinces.

At the celebration, the unique art exchange program has recreated the heroic years of the nation, the two revolutionary homeland of Bac Ninh and Ben Tre.
