The delegation of Tay Ninh province pays a working visit to Bac Ninh province

(BNP) - On September 26, the delegation of Tay Ninh province led by Mr. Pham Viet Thanh, Central Party Committee Member, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited and worked with Bac Ninh province to exchange and study experience in building smart city and socio-economic development.

Speaking at the working session, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Nhan Chien quickly informed remarkable achievements in the province's socio-economic development. Up to now, Bac Ninh has completed and exceeded 16 of 26 socio-economic targets set by the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress. In particular, there are many leading indicators in the country such as: Industrial production value, FDI attraction, State budget revenue, new rural construction, solidification rate of schools and schools meeting national standards,...

In particular, the province is currently focusing on the project of building and deploying the smart city model of Bac Ninh province in the period of 2017-2020, with a vision to 2030, with the goal of focusing on people and businesses, to improve the efficiency of serving people and businesses in the process of turning Bac Ninh into a centrally-run city.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee desired that in the coming time, Bac Ninh and Tay Ninh would strengthen cooperation and exchange of experience in the fields which are mutual interests of the two provinces, thereby, strengthening solidarity for the sustainable development of 2 localities.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Pham Viet Thanh, Secretary of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee expressed his impression and congratulated the outstanding results in socio-economic development of Bac Ninh province in recent years. He emphasized that good practices in socio-economic development, especially administrative reforms, attracting investment, high-tech agricultural production application, ensuring social security and development. deployment of a smart city model, building e-government in Bac Ninh will be valuable experiences for Tay Ninh province to study and implement in the coming time, contributing to socio-economic promotion, improving living standard of people in the province.

Previously, delegates of Tay Ninh province attended the trial operation of the Provincial Smart City Operation Center; visited the Dabaco Egg Processing Factory of Dabaco Vietnam Group which os the leading enterprise of the province applying high technology in agricultural production.
