8th Congress of Uncle Ho’s Good Children in Tu Son city in 2025 takes place

(BNP) - On March 6, Tu Son City Youth Union organized the 8th Congress of Uncle Ho’s Good Children in 2025.

Attending the Congress were representatives from the Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Team Council, Tu Son city, and 135 typical Uncle Ho’s good children representing nearly 28,000 team members and children in the city.

During the period of 2023 - 2025, the city’s children and teenagers achieved 59,564 hours of good study, 1,725 ​​weeks of good study, 4,548 days of good study; 42 traditional talks, 65 pilgrimages to the source were organized for more than 50,000 children and teenagers; more than VND 15 million was raised for families of war invalids, martyrs, Vietnamese heroic mothers, and families in difficult circumstances; more than 400 working sessions were contributed to make martyrs’ cemeteries green - clean - beautiful; more than 3,000 sets of clothes, 5,120 notebooks, 4,380 school supplies, 4,300 gifts were donated to poor children in mountainous, border, and island areas and those in difficult circumstances in the province. Through the movements, more and more exemplary team members have appeared, achieving the title of “Uncle Ho’s Good Children” at all levels.

At the Congress, the Tu Son City Team Council honored and awarded the title “Uncle Ho’s Good Children” to 135 delegates who are exemplary team members in the whole city; 12 exemplary teachers and leaders of the Team Council with outstanding achievements in the work of the Team and the movement of the city’s children in the 2023-2024 school year were rewarded.

On this occasion, delegates, teenagers and children attending the Congress offered incense and reported their achievements at the Special National Relic Site of Do Temple, Dinh Bang ward; visited the site of the banyan tree planted by Uncle Ho and the place where the “Thousand Good Deeds” movement was launched in Tam Son ward; and visited Dong Ky handicraft village (Tu Son city).
