97th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day held

Provincial leaders present flowers for congratulation at the ceremony.

Attending the ceremony were Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly Deputies Dao Hong Lan; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Quoc Chung; members of the Provincial Standing Party Committee; leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; leaders of provincial departments, branches, mass organizations, and provincial, district and city portals.

During the past time, provincial Press agencies strengthened propaganda and timely reflected all aspects of life. Bac Ninh Newspaper has constantly been innovated and increased number of publication. Bac Ninh’s journalists and media practitioners continuously improved professional qualifications, contributing to the promotion of Bac Ninh’s civilized, dynamic and developed imagine the process of industrialization, modernization, integration and development.

At the meeting, Ngo Gia Tu Press Award 2021 chose and awarded 42 best works including 2 First prizes, 4 Second prizes, 7 Third prizes and 8 Consolation prizes for group A; 1 First prizes, 4 Second prizes, 4 Third prizes and 12 Consolation prizes for group B.

At the meeting, the Provincial Journalists Association and the Organizing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Commission jointly responded to the 7th National Press Award on Party Building (Golden Hammer & Sickle" award) in 2022.

Speaking at the meeting, Chung acknowledged, praised and congratulated press agencies, journalists and collaborators in propagating and reflecting all aspects of life during the past time

He urged the Provincial Journalists Association and press agencies to focus on quality improvement, innovation in operation methods and propaganda of Party’s policies and guidelines, State’s policies and laws and province’s political tasks; organize professional training courses and seminars on professional ethics, social responsibility, civic duty of journalists, etc.

He further urged press agencies, journalists to focus on closely keeping abreast of social life in order to actively propagandize issues of public concern; timely praise typical advanced models and strengthen propaganda in the fight against corruption, waste and social evil.

On this occasion, Vietnam Journalist Association awarded Medals for the cause of the press to 7 members of Vietnam Journalist Association.
