Bac Ninh athlete wins 5 medals at 32nd SEA Games
(BNP) - The 32nd SEA Games took place from May 5 to 17, 2023 in Cambodia. The Vietnamese sports delegation won first place at the 32nd SEA Games.
Athlete Nguyen Duy Tuyen wins the Gold Medal at the 32nd SEA Games.
The 32nd SEA Games organized 48 sports with 608 contents. The Vietnamese sports delegation attended the 32nd SEA Games with 702 athletes, among which, 06 athletes of Bac Ninh province competed in 04 sports: Pencak Silat, Boxing, Kickboxing and Weightlifting.
At the end of the 32nd SEA Games, the Vietnamese sports delegation ranked first with 136 gold medals, 105 silver medals and 114 bronze medals. Thailand ranked second with 108 gold, 96 silver and 108 bronze medals. Indonesia ranked third with 86 gold medals, 80 silver medals and 109 bronze medals. Host Cambodia ranked 4th with 81 gold, 74 silver and 127 bronze medals.
The Bac Ninh delegation had 5/6 athletes and won 01 gold, 01 silver and 03 bronze medals, specifically: athlete Nguyen Duy Tuyen won gold medal in Penkasilat; Athlete Nguyen Manh Cuong won silver medal in Boxing; Athlete Bui Ky Su won bronze medal in Weightlifting; Athletes Nguyen The Huong and Nguyen Dinh Thai won bronze medals in Kickboxing.
