Bac Ninh honors typical collectives and individuals in conservation and promotion of the value of Quan Ho folksongs

Provincial leaders awarded the Certificates to the original Quan Ho villages in Bac Ninh province.

Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien, Member of Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Mr. Nguyen Huu Quat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Tu Quynh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mrs. Dao Hong Lan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang, Chairwoman of Provincial People's Council; Comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of departments, sectors and mass organizations; districts, town and city and typical artisans, artists and a large number of people.

After 10 years that Quan Ho Bac Ninh folksongs recognized as a Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, Bac Ninh province has launched many guidelines and policies to preserve and promote Quan Ho folksongs. Apart from restoring the performance space of the original Quan Ho villages, developing new Quan Ho villages, establishing many Quan Ho clubs, the province has issued many mechanisms and remuneration policies for the original Quan Ho village, practicing-Quan Ho singing villages, Quan ho clubs; artisans, artists of Quan Ho Bac Ninh ...

Currently, the province has 44 original Quan Ho villages, 369 practicing-Quan Ho singing villages, 381 Quan Ho clubs, with the participation of over 10,000 people, of which more than 600 people are able to teach. Across the country and abroad, hundreds of Quan Ho clubs have been established and maintained regularly.

Speaking at the conference, on behalf of provincial leaders, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong emphasized that the award of titles to the original Quan ho villages, typical collectives and individuals who have contributions in preserving and promoting the value of Quan Ho Cultural Heritage aims to acknowledge the contribution of each organization and individual to this representative cultural heritage of humanity.

From the achievements after 10 years of recognition, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hoped that every Bac Ninh citizen, especially artisans, artists, Quan Ho villages, Quan Ho clubs, should further raise their sense of responsibility with specific actions to contribute to bringing the value of Quan Ho Cultural Heritage to new heights, to making this type of folksongs survive and spread forever.

At the meeting, 44 original Quan ho villages in Bac Ninh province were awarded a Certificates; collectives and individuals with achievements in the preservation and promotion of the Quan Ho Cultural Heritage were awarded certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
