Bac Ninh participates in 9th India International Dance and Music Festival
(BNP) – During 3 days (October 18 to 20), the 9th International Dance and Music Festival took place at Kamani Theater, New Delhi, India.
The festival attracts the participation of 12 countries.
The festival attracted the participation of 12 countries including: Romania; Kyrgyzstan; Sri Lanka; Thailand; Panama; Croatia; Kazakhstan; Vietnam; Taiwan; Russia; Iraq; Turkmenistan, performing arts typical of each country.
Artists and actors of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Theater performed Quan Ho folk songs at the Festival, thereby, contributing to introducing and promoting the intangible cultural heritage of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs to international friends.
Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Huu Hung presents souvenirs to delegates attending the Festival.
The festival aimed to preserve and promote the value of the unique traditional performing arts of other countries. This was also an opportunity for artists and actors to meet, interact and exchange experiences, thereby, enhancing solidarity and friendship as well as promoting comprehensive exchange and cooperation between countries.
Within the framework of the Festival, on October 21, Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Theater performed at Kashinath Ghanekar Theater, Thane district, Maharashtra state, India for introduction and promotion of the intangible cultural heritage of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs.
