Bac Ninh wins 5 medals at 2023 National Judo Championship

The Championship attracted 245 athletes (140 men and 105 women) of 22 teams from provinces, cities and sectors nationwide. Athletes competed for 33 sets of medals including: 5 kata content, 18 individuals countervailing content, 10 men's and women's team countervailing content.

Bac Ninh team has 9 athletes (4 men and 5 women) competing in countervailing and kata contents. As a result, Bac Ninh won 5 medals including: 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 3 Bronze Medal. Among them, the Gold Medal belonged to athletes Dam Duy Ky and Nguyen Cong Ha, in the kata content.

The Championship is an opportunity for Judo teams from provinces, cities and sectors across the country to check and re-evaluate the training and the quality of their athletes. It is also an opportunity for Coaches to discover, select, and train young athletes with excellent performance records to join the national Judo team, who will compete in international championship in 2024.
