Bac Ninh wins 10 medals at Judo Youth National Championships 2023
(BNP) - The Judo Youth National Championships 2023 took place in 6 days (from July 18-23) in Dong Nai province.
Athlete Nguyen Thi Thom (white shirt) won the gold medal in the fighting event.
The tournament attracted the participation of 741 athletes from 27 provinces, cities and industries across the country. Athletes competed in 66 individual and team events. In which, children and teenagers competed in male and female fighting, while athletes aged 16 to 19 fought in 18 individual weightlifting classes, 4 team fighting content, and Kata.
Bac Ninh province sent 14 athletes to compete in fighting and kata content. As a result, Bac Ninh delegation excellently won 10 medals, including: 4 Golds, 3 Silvers, 3 Bronze Medals, ranked 6th out of 27 participating delegations. In which, the Gold medal belongs to athletes Tran Thi Sang, fighting content, age 14 - 15; Nguyen Duy Phuc, fighting content, ages 12 - 13; Nguyen Thi Thom, fighting content, ages 16 -19 and 1 Gold medal, kata content, small female team.
