Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital cooperate and provide medical support to Bac Ninh province

Delegates witness the signing ceremony of the medical support cooperation agreement between the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province and two hospitals.

Attending the signing ceremony were Mrs. Dao Hong Lan, Minister of Health; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Le Xuan Loi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Colonel Bui Duy Hung, Director of the Provincial Public Security and Deputy Minister of Health Tran Van Thuan.

At the signing ceremony, Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan and Directors of Bach Mai Hospital (Hanoi) and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital (Hanoi) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on medical support cooperation for the period 2025 - 2030. Accordingly, Bach Mai Hospital will support Bac Ninh province in: Application of information technology, digital transformation; training and technology transfer; highly qualified human resources; consulting on high-tech medical services. Viet Duc Friendship Hospital will support Bac Ninh province in: Training and technology transfer; highly qualified human resources; Telehealth application; consulting on the development of specialties, specializations and specialized medical services.

Minister Dao Hong Lan emphasized: This is the first time the Ministry of Health has sent "two generals" from two specialized, special-class hospitals to cooperate in supporting the health care of a province at the same time.

Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan sincerely thanked the leaders of the Ministry of Health, the Directors of the two hospitals, Professors, Doctors, and Scientists for their affection and attention to Bac Ninh province, especially in the field of Health. He emphasized that despite its small area, throughout the development process, generations of leaders of Bac Ninh province have always paid attention to harmoniously developing economic and social development while ensuring social progress and equity, especially improving the material and spiritual life of the people, caring for and protecting people's health.

Highly appreciating the comprehensive, comprehensive, accurate, and practical cooperation contents that meet the current needs of the Bac Ninh health sector, the Secretary hoped that Professors, Doctors, Physicians, and Experts would open non-public health facilities in Bac Ninh, contributing to the development of the health system of Bac Ninh province to ensure richness, diversity, and balance between public and private health care.
