Board of Culture and Society from Provincial People's Council surveys Do Temple and tombs of Ly Dynasty kings

(BNP) - On the afternoon of February 19, the Board of Culture and Society from the Provincial People's Council led by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Cuong, Head of the Board, organized a survey on the management and implementation of regulations on organizing the Spring Festival in 2024 at the special national relic Do Temple and the tombs of the Ly Dynasty kings (Tu Son city).

Do Temple and the tombs of the Ly Dynasty kings (Dinh Bang ward, Tu Son city) were recognized as special national relics in 2014. This place is also one of the typical tourist destinations in the province. It attracts a large number of people and tourists from all over to visit and offer incense to commemorate the merits of the Ly Dynasty kings in the first days of the new year.

Do Temple is known Co Phap Dien and is a place to worship the Eight Kings of the Ly Dynasty, so it is also called Ly Bat De Temple. It is located in Thuong Quarter, Dinh Bang Ward. Do Temple was built by King Ly Thai Tong in 1030, is the central temple of the country. Vietnamese feudal rulers have consistently maintained and extended it.

The tombs of the Ly dynasty kings, also known as Tho tomb Thien Duc or the forbidden area of ​​painted mausoleums in Cao Lam quarter, Dinh Bang ward, were once a forest of banyan trees... This place includes the tombs of the eight kings of the Ly dynasty as well as those of Ly Thanh Mau, Nguyen Phi Y Lan and Ly Chieu Hoang.

After the actual survey, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Cuong requested that the Do Temple Management Board strictly implement the regulations of the Ministry of Finance as well as coordinate with authorities at all levels to organize the festival to ensure solemnity, safety and savings, leaving behind many good marks.
