Yen Phong District Medical Center always pays attention to improving the medical examination process, ensuring continuous, one-way, step-by-step guidance by medical staff to create the most favorable conditions for patients.
In particular, since April 2023, the District Medical Center has officially applied and deployed electronic medical records, returning results to patients from the primary clinic, reforming administrative procedures, creating favorable conditions for patients, and shortening waiting times for patients.
In 2023, the District Medical Center received nearly 18,000 medical examinations and treatments, nearly 14,500 inpatients, and bed capacity reached 117%.
In addition, the District Health Center proactively made an annual plan to implement the Ministry of Health's point health station model until 2025. To date, the district has deployed 8/14 health stations following pilot medical station model. Along with that, the Center regularly mobilized staff to provide professional support to medical stations, repaired facilities, and purchased equipment, drugs, supplies, and chemicals to ensure medical examination and treatment at medical stations.
To date, the entire district has 13/14 health stations implementing management and treatment of hypertension and diabetes at the stations; developing a number of new techniques in traditional medicine such as electro-acupuncture, acupressure massage, etc. to serve the people as well as deploying an enhanced version of health records in 14/14 communes and towns.
