Chairman Nguyen Tu Quynh receives delegation of officials and businesses of Gyeongju city (Korea)
(BNP) – Mr. Nguyen Tu Quynh, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee on June 16th received and worked with a delegation of officials and businesses of Gyeongju city, Gyeongsangbuk province (Korea) led by Mr. Lee Wang Hee, Director of the Research Institute for Clean Water in learning about the investment environment in the province.

At the meeting, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Quynh welcomed the delegation to visit, learn about investment opportunities in the province. He also introduced remarkable achievements in the province's socio-economic development over the past time. Thanks to favorable geopolitical location, modern and synchronous infrastructure system and open investment policies, at present, Bac Ninh is one of the fast-growing localities with many leading indicators across the country. The province now has 10 among 16 Industrial Parks in operation, attracting more than 1,300 FDI enterprises from 33 countries and territories with a total investment of about USD 18 billion. In particular, Korea has more than 900 enterprises with a total investment of about USD 12.5 billion.
Currently, the province is deploying the clearance of Yen Phong Industrial Zone II-C, VSIP Bac Ninh II and preparing the procedures for implementing the High-Tech Park project. These Industrial Parks have favorable and potential location to attract domestic and foreign investors.
The Chairman hoped that this is an opportunity for Korean businesses to continue to learn and cooperate in investment in all fields in Bac Ninh province.
On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Lee Wang Hee thanked the provincial leaders for the respectful reception and said that Gyeongju city is a locality with many Industrial Parks ofSamsung and Hyundai Group as well as many enterprises has strengths in the field of high technology.
Mr. Lee Wang Hee expressed his hoped to learn and cooperate in the field of high-tech wastewater treatment, saving in the province. In addition, members of the delegation would be a bridge to introduce enterprises in other fields in Gyeongju city to cooperate and invest in Bac Ninh.
