Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee checks progress and urges implementation of key traffic projects

(BNP) – On August 13, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a progress meeting about key traffic projects in the province.


Overview of the meeting.

Participants at the meeting were Mr. Ngo Tan Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; leaders of departments, sectors, investors and contractors implementing projects.

During the meeting, investors and localities reported on the progress of implementing projects: Ring Road 4 Project - Hanoi Capital Region, section through Bac Ninh province; Investment project to build routes Provincial Road (PR) 295C, PR 285B connecting Bac Ninh city through industrial zones with new National Highway 3; PR 277B connects with Ha Bac 2 bridge, Ring Road 4 (referred to as provincial roads); Net bridge project (section of Yen Phong district - Tu Son city).

According to the report, the Ring Road 4 project - Hanoi Capital Region, section passing through Bac Ninh province, component project 1.3 currently has land acquisition and site clearance reaching 97.28%. The relocation of technical infrastructure works and electrical systems is underway. The disbursement value reached 12.26% of the 2024 plan. For component project 2.3, the Department of Transport directed the investor to build 3 command centers at 3 bidding packages no. 14, 15, 16.

For the project of provincial roads, Bac Ninh city has supported and compensated 2 out of 27 households whose residential land was recovered in Xuan Vien area (Hoa Long ward), and is planning a resettlement area project. The city is counting graves, publicizing compensation, supporting and making plans to move more than 100 derelict graves in Xuan Ai area (Hoa Long ward). Yen Phong district has carried out land clearance reaching 54.02% of the total area.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan requested the investor and related units to control the work progress according to the Conclusion which has been issued, prepare detailed progress schedules and clearly assign responsibilities.

The Chairman confirmed that the progress of the Ring Road 4 project is slow in both site clearance and construction work. It is expected that before November 30, 2024, land clearance must be completed for 2.3% of the remaining residential land area, land sold without authority and other land related to remaining residential land.

For the project of provincial roads, Bac Ninh city will complete the work of moving Xuan Ai graves in the 8th lunar month, and organize the immediate handover of the site of the Cultural House in Xuan Vien area.

At the same time, it coordinates with the Urban Area Development Authority to organize meetings with 25 households in Xuan Vien area and carry out on-site resettlement according to the households’ wishes. Yen Phong district must complete compensation payments for the entire agricultural land area before September 15.

For the section of the route bordering Viglacera Industrial Park, the Department of Transport is assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Construction and relevant agencies and units to clarify the boundaries of the projects.

As for the Net Bridge project, the Chairman requested to clear the land of households within the project's recovery boundary to hand over to the investor before August 30, 2024.
