Dear compatriots, comrades and armed forces soldiers of the province!

The new spring - At Ty 2025 is coming to the homeland of Bac Ninh. At the moment of welcoming the new year; on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front, I would like to send my warmest sentiments and best wishes for the new year to my compatriots, comrades and all the people; the children of Bac Ninh who are living and working in the country and abroad, people from other provinces and foreigners who are studying, working and living in Bac Ninh.

In the year of Giap Thin - 2024, besides favorable conditions, Bac Ninh faced many new difficulties and challenges in the world and domestic situation, especially storm No. 3 (typhoon Yagi) which has seriously affected the production and business situation of people and enterprises.

In that context, the Party Committee, authority and people of the province have promoted the spirit of solidarity, unanimity, and promoted the achievements of previous generations; continued to innovate, be dynamic, courageous and creative to overcome difficulties and challenges, and achieved extremely valuable and proud results.

This is the first year of the term (2020 - 2025) to achieve and exceed the plan for all 19 out of 19 targets on socio-economics, national defense - security, and Party building; economic growth (GRDP) increased from -9.28% in 2023 to 6.03%. Notably, foreign investment attraction led the country with USD 5.12 billion. Average income per capita reached VND 73 million (ranking 3rd in the country). Indicators such as GRDP per capita; industrial production value; export turnover ranked first in the Red River Delta and second in the country. With the promulgation of new, specific policies focusing on social security, by October 2024, Bac Ninh province officially had no more poor households; prioritizing resources to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses as soon as possible in the country.

External activities and cooperation with localities and corporations continued to be promoted, enhancing the province's position. Bac Ninh successfully organized the Conference on Announcement of the Planning and Investment Promotion of Bac Ninh province. It focused on implementing the Planning of Bac Ninh province for the 2021 - 2030 period, with a vision to 2050; Bac Ninh urban master plan...

Culture and education continued to be bright spots in the country; people's health care, environmental protection, and rural development continued to receive attention with many support policies that go ahead and were higher than the regulations of the Central Government, leaving no one behind.

National defense and security were firmly consolidated; foreign affairs and international integration continued to be promoted and developed; the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system continued to be innovated and strengthened.

At this extremely meaningful and sacred moment, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front, I would like to sincerely thank, acknowledge and commend the cadres, party members, armed forces, business community and people from all walks of life in the province for their efforts to overcome difficulties, continue to contribute, and create opportunities for Bac Ninh to develop steadily.

The New Year of At Ty - 2025 has a particularly important significance, commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, the reunification of the country, the 135th anniversary of the birth of beloved President Ho Chi Minh; the 80th anniversary of the founding of the country. Especially in the year of Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, the country enters a new era - the era of national development.

I believe that with the determination, spirit, pride and self-respect of the people of Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac, the Party Committee, the authority, the armed forces, the business community and all classes of people in the province will continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, unity and determination to successfully implement the set goals and plans; create momentum and motivation to promote the homeland of Bac Ninh to continue to develop sustainably and prosperously, for the peace and happiness of the people, for a prosperous and happy Bac Ninh; soon turn our beloved Bac Ninh province into a centrally-run city.
