Contest for excellent teachers and excellent homeroom teachers at provincial level in 2023-2024 school year opens
(BNP) - On February 23, at Bac Ninh High School for Gifted Students, the Department of Education and Training held an opening ceremony of the Contest for excellent teachers and excellent homeroom teachers at provincial level for Secondary, High School and Continuing Education in the 2023-2024 school year (Contest).
Overview of the opening ceremony.
The contest takes place from February 26 to March 2, 2024. This year’s contest attracts 237 teachers including 97 teachers from Secondary school. They participate in the contest for excellent homeroom teachers and subjects of English, Physical education and Citizenship education.
The High School and Continuing Education include 140 teachers participating in the contest for excellent homeroom teachers and subjects of Biology, Informatics, Industrial technology and Agricultural technology.
The teachers will compete in 2 parts including: practice teaching 1 lesson and report on measures to improve the education quality (for excellent teachers) or report on measures to improve the quality of class homeroom work (for excellent homeroom teachers).
This is an annual activity organized by the Department of Education and Training to select, acknowledge and praise excellent and typical teachers in the province. It creates conditions for teachers to demonstrate their abilities and exchange their experience during work, thereby, contributing to the quality of local education and training.
