Provincial Youth Union visits and gives gifts to new recruits before leaving for military service in 2024

(BNP) - On the afternoon of February 22, leaders of the Provincial Youth Union visited and gave gifts to outstanding recruits with difficult circumstances in Yen Phong, Tien Du, Luong Tai districts and Bac Ninh city.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Sam visited and gave gifts to rookie Nguyen Dang Dung, born in 2003 (Doai quarter, Khac Niem ward, Bac Ninh city), who was orphaned and in difficult circumstances; Nguyen Trung Hieu, born in 2005 (Lac Nhue village, Thuy Hoa commune, Yen Phong district), whose father passed away and mother worked far away; he is currently living with his grandmother; Tran Thi Thuy Dung, born in 2001 (Phat Tich commune, Tien Du district) is one of five typical female recruits from Bac Ninh province joining the army in 2024.

At those places, Mr. Sam kindly visited and encouraged the families of new recruits. He wanted the new recruits to promote their homeland's traditions and the pioneering spirit of youth, strive to train, and complete their duties at the units.

In 2024, the entire province has 1,700 citizens enlisting in the Army and 248 citizens participating in the People's Public Security service, including more than 900 young people who wrote volunteer applications to enlist in.
