Cung Temple – Ngoc Well in Viem Xa Area, Hoa Long Ward, Bac Ninh City (also known as Diem Village), is a place of hallowed and workship Mother Tam Phu from ancient times. The epiphany of Cung Temple has been famous throughout the country for a long time, from the time of Tien Ly, Tien Le, and the time of Ly court's army fighting the enemy along the Cau River and fulfilled to defeat the invaders.
Nowadays this place attracts a lot of visitors to visit, pray for love, career and family. Walking through the gate of the temple, we see a harmonious and ancient architectural complex. The space here is very airy with many ancient trees shady, making visitors always feel peaceful and fresh.
Located in the middle of Cung temple yard is Ngoc well. On hot days, after visiting and going to the temple to offering, visitors do not forget to ask for water in the Ngoc well.
Ngoc Well is a semicircular shape, about 20m2 wide, including 11 brick steps, 4 stone steps and 1 Lim wood steps close to the edge of the well. At the bottom of the well is a natural layer of laterite about 10m deep, the water of Ngoc is clear blue, can look to the bottom.
Ngoc Well is located in the middle of Cung temple yard.
Diem village is famous for being the cradle of Quan Ho folk songs, in order to get Quan Ho’s voice that captivating hearts, the people of Diem village also believe that thanks to drinking Ngoc well water. Although it is not possible to confirm the true effects of the water, but those who have heard the melodies of the people here, it will not be difficult to recognize the typical deposition, sweetness from the depth of their voices.
