Dai Tao communal house
(BNP) - Dai Tao communal house (Viet Doan village, Tien Du district) was built in the Le Dynasty (1729). Over time, people restored the Dai Dinh building (Great Communal Hall) and built the Tien Te building (Front Ceremonial Hall), two rows of Ta Vu, Huu Vu, the garden, and the surrounding wall.

Dai Tao communal house worships two tutelary gods: Queen Qua Cam and Doctor Nguyen Suy Cao Hien. Princess Qua Cam was the one who helped King Tran Anh Tong take care of and expand agricultural production, especially developing silkworm rearing, silk nursery, silk weaving, and ceramics. She returned to her hometown in Qua Cam village - Thuong Dong (Bac Ninh city) to encourage people to restore and maintain traditional pottery making.

Dr. Nguyen Suy - Cao Hien came from a rural area and passed the doctorate exam under King Le Tuong Duc. He had many merits to help the country save the people and put down the rebellion. In just one week, he was successful, saving the people from the war. When he died, he was given the title of Cao Son Dai Vuong by the king and had him worshiped in the communal house where he had gone to quell the rebellion.

Dai Tao communal house is currently located in the center of the village, with an area of 1,304m2.
The top of the roof of the communal house is covered with the image of a two dragons adoring the moon.
Currently, Dai Tao communal house has an architecture of Chinese “Dinh” letter including: Dai Dinh has 3 compartments and 2 lean-tons, 4 curved roofs.

Dai Tao communal house is the place to keep many historical events of the nation, many memories of generations of people throughout the development process. The communal house still preserves a number of artifacts with many historical and cultural values.
