Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organizes Book and Reading Culture Festival in 2023
(BNP) – On April 12, at the Provincial Library, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the Book and Reading Culture Festival 2023 with the theme "Books: Awareness - Innovation - Creation".

Participants attending the event were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Information and Communications, the Office of the Provincial People's Committee, the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises, Bac Ninh Newspaper, Bac Ninh Radio and Television Station, Bac Ninh Portal and a large number of students in the province.
The Book and Reading Culture Festival took place in 2 days from April 12 to 13, 2023 with many diverse and rich activities such as: Displaying books and materials of the Provincial Library, school book clubs, and bookshops; Screening historical film of famous Kinh Bac. Particularly, the contests such as: Designing children's book covers "Beautiful covers of good books"; decorate, arrange model art book "Bac Ninh reaches new heights"; book rhetoric contest “The book I love”…
At the opening ceremony, the students exchanged and discussed with speakers Nguyen Quoc Vuong and Nguyen Duy Ha with the topic "Building reading culture in the digital era and applying book knowledge to life"; listen to the introduction of the work "Beyond expectations" by Nguyen Duy Ha, Dan Tri Publishing House.
Book and Reading Culture Festival in Bac Ninh province is an activity to respond to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day April 21, World Book and Copyright Day April 23. This is an opportunity to honor the value of books, the role, position and importance of books in social life. The festival also contributed to creating a cultural space, an intellectual and useful playground, promoting the reading movement to become a daily activity in every family, agency, unit, and school; implementing Resolution No. 71 of the Provincial Party Committee on "Building and developing culture and people of Bac Ninh until 2030 to meet the requirements of sustainable development".
