Developing Post and Telecommunications infrastructure

Over the past years, Bac Ninh Post and Telecommunication has gradually improved its service quality to meet the needs of the province's socio-economic development.

Recently, there are 18 enterprises in operation in the fields of post, delivery, postal agent system and transaction points of courier enterprises.

In 2019, the postal sector deployed online public services and services for receiving and returning the results of administrative procedures through the post office services in the province. During the year, the post office services received more than 8,000 dossiers and returned about 4,000 dossiers. The sector also participated in surveying and investing equipment for 15 grassroots radio stations and online video-conference systems with 140 venues at 03 levels; surveyed new installation locations and installed more than 90 Base Transceiver Stations (BTS)...

Along with the development of Post, Telecommunication has become one of key economic sectors of the province. Bac Ninh has now 09 enterprises, which providing mobile communication services, namely Bac Ninh Telecommunication (Vinaphone network), Viettel Bac Ninh (Viettel network), Mobifone Bac Ninh (Mobifone network), Vietnamobile Telecom Joint Stock Company, Vietnamobile (Vietnamobile network), Global Telecom Joint Stock Company (Gtel network), VNPT - Bac Ninh Business Center, FPT - Bac Ninh Branch, Vietnam Optical Cable Television Company Limited and Saigontourist Cable Television Company - Bac Ninh Branch.

On the other hand, the province continued to implement the master plan on development of post and telecommunications to 2020, with a vision to 2030; Planning on infrastructure system, communication lines in the province to 2030, with an orientation to 2050... The Post and Telecommunication enterprises must ensure the communication to serve the direction and administration of the Party and State agencies, national defense and security as well as deploy smart wifi and radio in the province.
