Donate 238 wheelchairs for disabled people in the province

The central and provincial leaders deliver wheelchairs to the disabled people in Bac Ninh city

Attending the program were Mr. Tran Van Tuy, Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the Committee for National Assembly Deputies’ Affairs, Vice Chairman of the Central Party Committee’s Organization Commission; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Bao, Deputy Chairman of the Economic Committee of the National Assembly; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thu, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mrs. Tran Thi Hang, Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies.

At the ceremony, the central and provincial leaders, representative of GIBTK organization of the United States gave 15 wheelchairs for the disabled people living in Bac Ninh city. The remaining wheelchairs will be handed over to the disadvantaged people in districts, town, and city in the nearest future.

Vice Chairman of Central Party Committee’s Organization Commission Tran Van Tuy expressed his gratitude and highly appreciated the assistance of GIBTK organization in humanitarian assistance in Vietnam in general, in Bac Ninh province in particular over the past years. Wheelchair donation is a humanitarian activity, contributing to making convenience for the disabled people, to eliminating the inferiority, to giving strength for their more dedication for community and locality.

Mr. Tran Van Tuy wished, in the coming time, Vietnam Union of Friendship GIBTK continue to coordinate and multiply many other humane programs to support people with disabilities in need all over the country.
