Establishment of Provincial “Fund for Vietnam's Seas and Islands” Campaign Committee

According to the decision, the Provincial “Fund for Vietnam's Seas and Islands” Campaign Committee includes 01 head, 02 deputy heads, and 21 members, led by Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, an Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command as the Standing Deputy Head of the Committee.

The Provincial “Fund for Vietnam's Seas and Islands” Campaign Committee is responsible for implementing regulations on non-profit organizations and activities based on the principle of mobilizing voluntary support and contributions from organizations, agencies, mass organizations, businesses, and individuals inside and outside the province to gradually contribute to improving the material and spiritual lives of our army and people on the seas and islands of the Fatherland, with priority given to focusing on key and strategic areas, especially Truong Sa island district and DK1 staging house.

In addition, the Committee develops operating regulations and plans; organizes propaganda, mobilizes support, and contributes to building the Fund; and receives, manages, and distributes money and goods from sources of support and contributions inside and outside the province to ensure compliance with the provisions of law; organizes a preliminary review, learn from experience, and propose forms of recognition, praise, and reward for groups and individuals who have contributed a lot to building the Fund.

Members of the Campaign Committee work on a part-time basis. The Head of the Committee regulates the its working regime, assigns tasks to each member, and establishes a supporting department.
