Exhibition "Bac Ninh in resistance war against French colonialism" in Dien Bien province opens
(BNP) - On the morning of April 10, at the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum (Dien Bien province), the Bac Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Dien Bien Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism jointly organized the opening of the thematic exhibition "Bac Ninh in the resistance war against French colonialism".
Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Museums of Bac Ninh and Dien Bien provinces cut the ribbon to open the Exhibition.
The exhibition has over 300 typical images, documents, and artifacts that were selected according to 3 themes: "Bac Ninh - Land and people"; “Bac Ninh in the resistance war against French colonialism”; "Bac Ninh is rich in cultural identity, dynamic and developing in the innovation period."
Along with the Exhibition activities, Bac Ninh also organizes a number of experiential activities such as: Performances and experiences of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs, exchanges between artisans, artists and visitors; experience of wearing Quan Ho costumes; experience of printing Dong Ho folk paintings. These are the unique cultural heritages of Kinh Bac hometown - Bac Ninh.
The thematic exhibition "Bac Ninh in the resistance war against French colonialism" is an activity to practically celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024). The exhibition aims to review the glorious and heroic history of the Vietnamese people in general, the contributions of the Party Committee, government, army and people of Bac Ninh province in particular in the resistance war against the French colonialists and the culmination of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.
The exhibition takes place from April 10 - 12, 2024 at the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum.
