Foreign Affairs Committee of the Lao Revolutionary People's Party visits and works in Bac Ninh

The provincial leaders give the handicraft product to the Lao delegation.

Welcoming the Lao delegation to visit and work in Bac Ninh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Quat briefed the delegation on the geographical location, culture, and outstanding achievements of the province after more than 20 years of re-establishment. In spite of a pure agricultural locality and the smallest province in the country, Bac Ninh has soared to become an industrial province, with many socio-economic indicators in the top of the country. In particular, Bac Ninh has strongly implemented in administrative reform, creating an open and attractive environment to attract domestic enterprises as well as FDI enterprises. To date, there have been more than 1,300 FDI projects of 33 countries and territories investing in the province with a total capital of over USD 18 billion. In 2018, export turnover reached more than USD 38 billion, accounting for 14% of the total export turnover of the whole country ...

Recently, Bac Ninh has welcomed many high-level delegations of the Party, State, ministries, and localities of Laos to visit and work in the province. For Houaphanh province, Bac Ninh province has carried out many cooperative activities in the fields: training high-quality human resources and building infrastructure, social welfare projects,..., contributing to strengthening the tradition of good solidarity and friendship between the two provinces in particular and the two countries of Vietnam - Laos in general.

On behalf of the delegation, Vice Chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee of the Lao Revolutionary People's Party thanked the provincial leaders for the respectful reception and congratulated the achievements of the province over time. The results of Bac Ninh achieved, especially in attracting foreign investment, will be valuable experiences for Laos to study, apply and implement in the coming time for the socio-economic development of Laos.

The representative of Lao delegation hoped that Bac Ninh province would continue to strengthen cooperation and help Houaphanh province and Lao provinces in the fields of economic development and training of human resources, ensuring social security..., contributing to tightening the solidarity and attachment between Vietnam and Laos.
