Historical relic and artistic architecture of Tam Tao pagoda
(BNP) - Tam Tao Pagoda, also known as Phuc Lam Temple, is located in Tam Tao Village, Phu Lam Commune, Tien Du District. The pagoda was constructed in the early 17th century and was renowned as a large ancient temple with numerous horizontal and vertical structures as well as stunning natural surroundings.
Over time, war and destruction of nature, the pagoda has been restored many times by the State and people with the main items: Tam Quan, Tam Bao, Ancestor house, Mother house, 2 rows of corridors, Guanyin’s building and ancillary works.
The pagoda is located at the end of the village.
Many trees have been planted around the pagoda, as well as a canal system filled with lotus flowers.
Pagoda gate (Tam Quan) Tam Tao was built on a large scale.
Tam Bao has the architecture of Chinese “Cong” letter including Tien Duong, Thieu Huong and Thuong Dien.
The top of the Tam Bao is embossed with Chinese characters "Phuc Lam Tu".

Currently, the pagoda still preserves many ancient artifacts such as Buddha statues, stone steles from the Le - Nguyen dynasties.
Especially the system of ancient stone steles, the earliest steles "Trung tu Phuc Lam tu bi" was built in the 2nd year of Duong Hoa (1636).

Tam Tao Pagoda is a place where Buddha, Mother, Ancestor and Hau worship are ranked as a provincial-level historical-cultural relic according to Decision No. 143/QD - People's Committee, dated February 1, 2016.
