Kenh Vang Bridge Project and Social Housing Project in Que Vo New Urban Area officially started
(BNP) - On the afternoon of September 22, the groundbreaking ceremony of the construction investment project to build Kenh Vang bridge and access roads at both ends of the bridge, connecting the two provinces of Bac Ninh and Hai Duong and the Social Housing Project under the investment project to build technical infrastructure of Que Vo new urban area took place at the Conference to announce the Planning and Investment Promotion of Bac Ninh province in 2024.

The groundbreaking ceremony was shifted from in-person to online. The full expected expenditure for the groundbreaking ceremony organized by the investor and enterprises to directly start construction at the site of the 02 above projects was used to support the people affected by storm No. 3.
The construction investment project to build Kenh Vang bridge and access roads at both ends of the bridge, connecting the two provinces of Bac Ninh and Hai Duong has a route length of about 13.4km, invested by the Bac Ninh Traffic Construction Project Management Board (Department of Transport).

With a total cost of over VND 2,182 billion, the construction project includes the 740m long, 23.5m wide Kenh Vang bridge, which is designed as a permanent bridge with a prestressed reinforced concrete structure; the approach roads at both ends of the bridge are 12.6km long, with a 15m wide. The construction location is in Gia Binh and Luong Tai districts (Bac Ninh province) and Nam Sach district (Hai Duong province).
The Kenh Vang Bridge is considered a symbol of development and connection between the two provinces of Bac Ninh and Hai Duong. It not only helps to complete the traffic infrastructure but also creates momentum for economic development, investment attraction and improvement of the people's lives in the both provinces. It is expected that the Kenh Vang Bridge will be completed in 2025, welcoming the 21st Provincial Party Congress and making the 30th anniversary of the Bac Ninh province’s re-establishment of (January 1, 1997 - January 1, 2027).
Perspective of the Social Housing Project under the investment project to build technical infrastructure of Que Vo new urban area.
The social housing project is being developed on the site of the Que Vo new urban area infrastructure investment project (Phuong Mao and Phuong Lieu wards, Que Vo town), with a total investment capital of more than VND1,323 billion. The project consists of 4 social housing buildings, each with 12 floors, with a total construction area of more than 100,000 m2 of floor space, invested by Tung Bach Company Limited.
The project is expected to be completed and put into use by the end of 2025, providing 914 apartments, meeting the housing needs of about 3,000 workers . The project contributes to solving the housing problem for low-income workers, promoting local socio-economic development.
