(BNP) - The Pham family’s ancestral house, Tien Bao quarter, Phu Khe ward, Tu Son city was built in 1565. In 1945, the ancestral house was destroyed. The descendants of the family moved the worshiping objects, the 3-compartment Front Ceremonial Hall and the Back Hall to the house of the head of the family. In 1992, the Pham family’s ancestral house was moved to its current location in the middle of the quarter, next to the ancient Tien Bao communal house.

The Pham family’s ancestral house is the place to worship the ancestor of the Pham family, Mr. Pham Cuong Nghi, who had the merit of building the village and settling down in Lien Bao village, Dong Ngan district, Kinh Bac region (now Tu Son city, Bac Ninh province and a part of Dong Anh district, Gia Lam district, Hanoi city).

The ancestral house has an architecture of Chinese “Nhi” letter including 3-compartment Front Ceremonial Hall and 3-compartment Emperor's Harem.

The 3-compartment Emperor’s Harem is made of mahogany.
