Le Luc Chi ancestor altar house - typical cultural work of family and local people
(BNP) - Le Luc Chi ancestor altar house (Tam Giang commune, Yen Phong district) was built in the 18th century to worship the ancestors of the Le Luc Chi family. Through time and war, it was severely damaged and has been repaired many times. In 1998, it was beautifully renovated according to traditional ancient architecture.

The Le Luc Chi ancestor altar house worships the ancestors of the family. Based on the content of the family genealogy, the family originated from the lineage of the Early Le Dynasty, descendants of King Le Trung Tong.

This is a large family with thousands of people living in many localities across the country but concentrated mainly in Xa Dong village, Tam Giang commune.

The Le Luc Chi ancestor altar house is currently located in the middle of the village, with an architecture of Chinese “Nhat” letter consisting of three compartments.
The door system and structure are made of oval wood.
The exquisite carvings represent the artistic style of the Nguyen Dynasty.

Currently, the relic still preserves valuable artifacts such as altars, incense burners, horizontal lacquered board, parallel sentences, etc. The artifacts date back to the XX–XXI centuries.
