Noi Vien Pagoda (Vien Quang Tu)

(BNP) – Noi Vien Pagoda (Lac Ve commune, Tien Du district) was built a long time ago. Under Le Trung Hung, the pagoda was restored and expanded on a large scale. During the resistance war against the French, the pagoda was demolished to destroy the resistance. In 2006, the pagoda was completely rebuilt with concrete and steel reinforcement.

Covering on a land plot of more than 1,000 m2, the pagoda is located in the Tay hamlet, facing the South. Noi Vien Pagoda was built to worship Buddha, Mother Goddess, and Patriarchs, and is the center of Buddhist religious activities of the local people.

The Tam Bao building has an architecture of Chinese “Dinh” letter, including: Tien duong has 3 compartments and 2 lean-tons; Thuong dien has 3 compartments.

The Buddha statues are intricately carved.

Up to now, Noi Vien Pagoda still preserves a number of valuable antiquities from the Le - Nguyen dynasties, such as: the statue of Tam The in the Nguyen Dynasty; statue of Adida in the Nguyen Dynasty; stone incense in the Le Trung Hung period…

Noi Vien Pagoda is classified as a provincial historical and cultural relic, Decision No. 988/QD-UBND, dated July 29, 2008.
