Opening and exhibition of spring books and newspapers and documentary of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folksongs

(BNP) - Responding to the activities of celebrating the Party, the Spring of the Lunar New Year 2019 and the 10th anniversary of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Songs which is recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity, at the Provincial Library, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on January 29th opened the display of Spring books and newspapers and the documentary for Bac Ninh Quan Ho folksongs.

The exhibition introduced more than 500 documents on the fields to readers such as the Glorious (Communist) Party, the great Uncle Ho; the traditional customs and festivals of the nation in the spring; over 200 publications of spring newspaper and magazines from the Central, provinces and cities nationwide.

Besides, the exhibition of the documentary for ​​Bac Ninh Quan Ho folksongs is divided into 3 topics including Value of the original source of Quan Ninh Bac Ninh folk songs; Preservation and promotion of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folksongs heritage; Quan Ho Bac Ninh folksongs – Light shine.

After the opening ceremony, the Provincial Library organized a seminar entitled "Bac Ninh Quan ho Bac Ninh Folksongs heritage ". It is expected that the exhibition of spring books and newspapers and documents of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs will serve people and tourists until the end of February 2019.
