Opening free play area for children in Van Duong and Nam Son wards
(BNP) - In the evening of May 31st, in Van Duong ward, Bac Ninh city, Bac Ninh City organized the opening of a free play area for children in Van Duong and Nam Son wards.
Provincial and city leaders deliver gifts to students.
In recent years, Bac Ninh city has always paid special attention to nearly 80,000 children in the area. Along with building and renovating nearly 50 schools in a modern and synchronous manner, the city has also put into use some free play areas for children at Nguyen Van Cu and Hoang Quoc Viet parks, Thi Cau ward flower garden,… and installed sports equipment for 100% of flower gardens, communal houses.
In order to continue to care for and educate children, especially workers' children in industrial zones, the city has built a free play area for children in Van Duong and Nam Son wards. Started in January 2019, it covers on an area of 7,500m2 with a system of technical infrastructure, greenery, flower trusses, fountains, amusement parks, fitness, and sports equipment ... invested synchronously and modernly worth nearly VND 10 billion. After nearly 5 months of construction, the project was officially completed and put into use on the occasion of International Children's Day and Month of Vietnamese Workers.
At the event, leaders of the province and the city gave 35 gifts including toys, scholarships, bicycles, and backpacks for children with outstanding achievements in study and poor children overcoming difficulties in Van Duong and Nam Son wards.
