Organizing many cultural activities at Dong Ho Folk Painting Conservation Center

According to the Plan, Bac Ninh Museum and Tourism Promotion will organize many activities at Dong Ho Folk Painting Conservation Center on holidays: Tranh communal house festival (14th - 15th of the third lunar month), April 30 and May 1 holidays, National Day September 2, Heritage Day November 23... including organizing a space to perform and experience Dong Ho folk painting crafts; introducing handicraft products; typical Bac Ninh cuisine; performing traditional art forms such as: Quan Ho, Trong Quan, Tuong, Dong Ngu water puppetry; some traditional folk games such as: blindfolded duck catching, tug of war...

During the first 3 months of Spring, on Saturdays and Sundays, the Center regularly organizes activities to demonstrate and experience the craft of making Dong Ho folk paintings; and to perform traditional art forms.

The Center coordinates with travel agencies, schools... to develop scenarios to welcome groups of students and visitors to experience and learn about the typical culture of Bac Ninh... in order to gradually turn the Dong Ho Folk Painting Conservation Center into an interesting and meaningful tourist and cultural destination for students and visitors, thereby, continuing to promote propaganda, promotion, preservation and development of the heritage value of Dong Ho folk painting, a unique and typical cultural form of Bac Ninh province, combining performances and promotion of typical heritage forms of the province such as: Quan Ho folk songs, water puppetry, clay statue making, singing drums, performing Tuong, folk games... to the people and visitors.
