Program of Quan Ho folk song singing on boat with theme “Ho Chi Minh - Most beautiful name”
(BNP) - On the evening of August 30th, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism organized a Quan Ho Bac Ninh folk song singing program on boats with the theme "Ho Chi Minh - The most beautiful name" at Ho Vua Ba (Viem Xa area, Hoa Long Ward, Bac Ninh City).
The performance "Nhin cay da thay hinh bong Bac" is performed by the brothers and sisters.
This is a practical activity to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (1969 – 2024), the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2024) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024). The program was broadcast live on Bac Ninh Radio and Television.
Attending the program were Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Le Xuan Loi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the provincial departments, branches and sectors, along with a large number of people and tourists.

With the theme “Ho Chi Minh - The most beautiful name”, the art performance was elaborately staged, with concise and succinct content, including immortal songs about President Ho Chi Minh, along with the delicate and subtle beauty of sweet and deep Quan Ho folk songs, performed by the artists and actors of Quan Ho Folk Song Theater.
The art space is designed in an open direction to reach the most diverse audience, combining a reality stage with modern lighting technology to honor the beauty of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Songs - a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
The program is a tribute from Bac Ninh people to President Ho Chi Minh, thereby promoting and educating the tradition of patriotism in the young generation, arousing pride in cultural traditions and raising awareness and responsibility of the community in preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage.
Along with singing Quan họ folk songs on the boat, locals and tourists also experienced the cultural activities, street music exchanges, folk dancing, traditional games, explore tourism products, and savor the distinctive cuisine of the Quan họ region.
