Progress meeting of BT projects in transport infrastructure held

(BNP) - On July 3, Mr. Ngo Tan Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) chaired a conference on the progress of implementing investment projects in the form of BT contracts in transport infrastructure in the province.


Overview of the conference.

At the conference, delegates heard reports from functional agencies on the progress of implementing 08 investment projects in the form of BT contracts: Renovating and upgrading Provincial Road (PR) 277 (section passing Phu Khe ward to the memorial area of ​​General Secretary Nguyen Van Cu) and technical infrastructure in Dong Beo area, Phu Khe ward, Tu Son city; Investing in the construction of PR 277 road from Tu Son city to Cho township, Yen Phong district (section passing Tu Son city from Km3+680 to Dai Dinh bridge); Renovating and upgrading PR 295B (old National Highway 1A); Construction investment of Trinh Xa - Da Hoi road; Construction investment of the road along canal B2; Construction investment of PR 286, a new route from Van An ward to Phong Khe ward, Bac Ninh city; Renovating and upgrading PR 286, section from Cho township to Do Lo bridge, Yen Phong district (from Km 13+91.89 to K17+78.60); Construction investment of PR 277, section from Tu Son city to Cho township, Yen Phong district (section through Yen Phong district from Km 0+00 to Km 3+680).

Among them, 4 projects are completed, handed over and put into use. 3 projects are being implemented, 1 project has not yet signed a BT contract. BT projects have problems with site clearance and counterpart projects to make payments.

Concluding the conference, PPC’s Vice Chairman Ngo Tan Phuong requested departments, sectors and localities to continue to review and seriously implement the contents in Conclusion Notice No. 121/TB-UBND dated October 31, 2023. They need to promptly resolve difficulties and problems during project implementation, of which focuses on acceptance, settlement, and reciprocal land handover, he added.
