Provincial leaders welcome and work with China World Trade Association
(BNP) – In the morning of October 7th, Mr. Nguyen Tien Nhuong, Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee received and worked with a delegation of China World Trade Association led by Mr. Han Kien Quang, Chairman of the Association to visit and explore investment opportunities in Bac Ninh.

Welcoming the China World Trade Association to visit and explore investment opportunities in Bac Ninh, Permanrent Vice Chairman Nguyen Tien Nhuong introduced an overview of outstanding achievements in the province’s socio-economic development. Thanks to favorable geopolitical location, modern and synchronous transport system, and attractive investment policies, so far, Bac Ninh has become a dynamic development locality with many leading indicators across the country. Currently, the province attracts nearly 1,400 FDI enterprises with a total investment of more than USD 18 billion. Among them, there are 87 investment projects from Chinese enterprises with a total capital of over USD 400 million.
In the coming time, the Permanent Vice Chairman hoped that the China World Trade Association will become a bridge to encourage more Chinese enterprises to choose Bac Ninh province as an investment destination in all fields.
Congratulating the achievements in socio-economic development of the province, especially the foreign investment attraction, Mr. Han Kien Quang briefed on some information about the Association. Established since 1992, the Association's member businesses now have invested in domestic and foreign markets with a total capital of over USD 200 billion. In April 2019, the Association established Hoa Thuong Vietnam Investment Co., Ltd. in Bac Ninh. It is expected that the project will be deployed the construction of Hoa Thuong Building in the near future.
He believed that with open policies and investment environment, Bac Ninh province will facilitate Chinese enterprises to continue investing and developing in the long term, thereby, contributing to the overall development of the province.
