SEA Games 30: Bac Ninh athletes win 02 silver medals, 1 bronze medal
(BNP) - From November 30 to December 11, Bac Ninh had 3 athletes participating in the Vietnam Sports delegation and achieved 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal at the 30th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 30) in the Philippines.

Accordingly, 3 athletes with high-performance from Bac Ninh selected to wear the National team for SEA Games 30 including: Nguyen Van Duong (Boxing); Nguyen Manh Cuong (Boxing) and Dong Thi Thu Hien (Kurash). All 3 players competed excellently and won 3 medals (2 medals and 1 bronze), contributing to bringing glory to the homeland and the country.
In particular, athlete Nguyen Van Duong won a silver medal in Boxing (56kg), athlete Nguyen Manh Cuong won a silver medal in Boxing (75kg) and athlete Dong Thi Thu Hien won a bronze medal in Kurash (57kg). This was a remarkable result, creating the beginning of a new breakthrough period of Bac Ninh sport for the following years and 31st SEA Games in Vietnam.
SEA Games 30 with the participation of more than 10,000 athletes from 11 the Southeast Asian countries. Vietnam Sports delegation consisted of 568 athletes participating in 43 out of 56 sports. At the end of SEA Games 30, Vietnam Sports delegation ranked second with 98 gold medals, 85 silver medals and 105 bronze medals.
