In order to meet the production and business needs, the Company started building THK Manufacturing Vietnam Factory (phase 2) with an area of 16,000m2 and total investment of USD 50 million in March, 2018. In 2019, the factory inaugurated and put into operation. This both affirms the Company’s new development step and proves Bac Ninh’s safe and attractive investment environment.

Assessing and commenting Bac Ninh’s investment environment, Mr. Tatsuya Matsui, Director of THK Manufacturing of Vietnam Co., Ltd., said that Bac Ninh is a province which is recognized to have many active activities for foreign investment, and it continuously ranks 5th in Vietnam. For this reason, we believe that the province is extremely proactive and cooperative when approaching foreign companies as well as it also is a place with a convenient location which both nears Hanoi and Noi Bai airport, he added. He also emphasized that the human resources are abundant so basically they can recruit personnel in the locality. While the expansion of Korean and Japanese companies is also notable, we are currently witnessing the investment strides from China and Taiwan as well as we believe that Bac Ninh will remain the attraction of companies from all over the world, he stressed.

Mr. Tatsuya Matsui also noted that up to now, the department, branches and sectors of Bac Ninh province, typically the Provincial People’s Committee have always maintained dialogues with enterprises. He felt that such management is very close to the enterprises. We are grateful that our company’s procedures have conducted smoothly without any major problems so far, he said. In the future, there will be a plan to expand further and the construction of a second factory will also be considered.
