(BNP) - It is the direction of Mr. Nguyen Tu Quynh, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee (PPC) at the opening ceremony of Yen Phong district’s public administration center organized on November 9th.

Mr. Nguyen Tu Quynh, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee and delegates cut the ribbon to open the public administrative center of Yen Phong district.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the PPC Nguyen Tu Quynh stressed that in 2017, Bac Ninh province focused on accelerating the administrative reform by dissolving, merging, reducing the number of provincial-level and district-level units, which aim to streamline state agencies in a simple, compact and efficient way in line with local characteristics and situation.

Particularly, Bac Ninh is one of the three provinces in the country approved by the Prime Minister to set up a public administration center. It shows the expectation of the central leaders as well as the determination of the province in accelerating the administrative procedure reform, creating maximum advantages for businesses and people when handling administrative procedures. This is also one of the important factors to further improve the investment environment, promote socio-economic development in the province.

Yen Phong is the seventh district in the province opening the district public administrative center, the Chairman said. In order to run smoothly, the Chairman also asked Yen Phong district to pay close attention to the operation of the Center, promptly correcting the shortcomings and inadequacies from the beginning of the center. At the same time, it is necessary to speed up the implementation of all administrative procedures at the center to ensure transparency, minimize the time and costs of people and businesses.
 
Moreover, the center has to enhance the application of information technology in the settlement of administrative procedures, to set up a mechanism for inspecting and supervising the work of the center, to establish a coordination mechanism, identify the responsibility of individuals and collectives in the process of settling administrative procedures.
 
The Chairman of the PPC also noted that Yen Phong is a district with many industrial zones and clusters attracting a large number of foreigners and workers from other provinces, making the administrative settlement more than other localities. As a result, officials, civil servants and employees at the Public Administrative Center should be professional and friendly in order to create a good image in the eyes of the people, especially the foreigners and workers from the other provinces, continue to create a wave to attract more businesses to invest, thereby contributing to the overall development of the provincial.
