Total tourism revenue estimated at VND 378 billion

(BNP) - According to Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the first 9 months of 2020, Bac Ninh welcomed about 530,000 tourists to Bac Ninh, down 56% over the same period in 2019; total tourism revenue was estimated at VND 378 billion, down 57% compared with same period in 2019.

Most of tours operators and hotels are canceled, the number of tourists has decreased. In particular, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has promoted propaganda, promoting the image of safe and friendly destinations of the province; consulted and supported tourism business establishments, travel agencies to improve the quality of tours, routes and tourist sites; regularly participated in tourism promotion, speeded up cooperation with provinces and cities in the country to attract tourists back, thereby, pulling growth tourism in the province.
