U9 players visit and experience several historical and cultural relics of Bac Ninh
(BNP) – As a part of the activities of U9 National Football Tournament Toyota Cup 2023, the teams visited, experienced and explored the land, culture and people of Bac Ninh – Kinh Bac in several provincial historical and cultural relics on August 13.
People’s Teacher Nguyen Duc Thin introduces the special National Relic Do temple (Dinh Bang ward, Tu Son city) to young players.
The teams visited and offered incense in Do temple and the kings’ tombs of Ly dynasty (Tu Son city) to commemorate the merits of the ancestors.
The teams participate in the experience of making Dong Ho folk paintings.
Furthermore, the teams also participated in the experience of making Dong Ho folk paintings at Dong Ho folk painting conservation center (Song Ho ward, Thuan Thuan town). At the same time, they enjoyed and learnt about the traditional art of Dong Ngu water puppetry with typical performances such as: “Múa rồng” (Dragon dancing), “trọi trâu” (buffalo fighting), “đua thuyền” (boat racing), etc. at Luy Lau folklore conservation area (Ngu Thai commune, Thuan Thuan town).
The players enjoy the water puppetry show with the performance “Múa rồng”.
The Program is organized with the aim of introducing and promoting the historical and cultural relics of Bac Ninh to the delegations participating in U9 National Football Tournament, especially helping the young players to understand deeply the traditional values, gratitude to ancestors’ generations in the cause of building and defending the country, thereby, helping the young generation to build a spirit of solidarity, patriotism and national pride.
